Myriad Cellars Elysian Cabernet Sauvignon
Dark red fruit on the nose, dense, concentrated, pure fruit driven with woven spices and minerality on the long and winding finish. Crushed gravel lift in the mid palate plays off the natural acidity, leading to spectacular tannin management. The Elysian bottling has a slight sweetness and a seemingly never-ending skyscraper finish as its grand finale.

Myriad Cellars 'Elle' Lewelling Ranch Cabernet Sauvignon
Named the "Elle" as a nod/nickname to our matriarch Leah. One of the oldest continuously-owned family vineyards in the Napa Valley. What is just as remarkable is that the Lewelling family has stayed true to their strong agricultural roots generation after generation. The fifth and sixth generations are now running Lewelling Ranch and the seventh generation is already running among the vines. The vineyard is located in one of the Napa Valley’s historical neighborhoods with the whose who of on each side of the estate – including the Hayne Vineyard, Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard, Beckstoffer Bourn, and the old Edge Hill property.
The vineyard is eighty planted acres located at the base of the Mayacamas mountains in St. Helena. Because of its proximity to the slopes, the vineyard has benefited from thousands of years of soil erosion coming down from the hillsides. While the soils are not nearly as deep as further out in the valley floor, quantity of production is not necessarily as important when your focus is on making premium wine. For this type of wine, these alluvial deposits/bench land type soils are ideal. This part of Napa is one of the sweet spots for growing high quality Cabernet Sauvignon. Myriad is honored to make wine from this incredible site.

Myriad Cellars Beckstoffer ToKalon Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon
Gross Acreage: 89 Acres
Plantable Acreage: 83 Acres
Appellation: Oakville
Location: A portion of the historic original To Kalon Vineyard in Oakville
Grape Varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc
Perhaps the most famous vineyard in the United States, Beckstoffer To Kalon was purchased from Beaulieu Vineyard in 1993. Napa pioneer Hamilton Crabb first planted the vineyard in 1868, and it has produced some of the Napa Valley's best red grapes ever since. Replanted in 1994 to multiple clones of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc with modern trellising and closer vine spacing, the vineyard produces several highly coveted vineyard-designated wines. In 2007 the property was placed under a land conservation easement that forever prohibits non-agricultural development. Myriad is both humbled and honored to be among the top wineries invited to make a Beckstoffer To Kalon Cabernet Sauvignon.

Myriad Cellars Beckstoffer Las Amigas Merlot
One of the last true agricultural stands of Napa Valley, the Carneros region harbors a great deal of character amongst its patch work of vineyards, wineries and homes. Split across Sonoma and Napa County, the Carneros region remains the coolest AVA of the valley due to its proximity to the San Francisco Bay. The long, cool growing season is a result of the ingress of fog in the morning and evening, modulating the temperatures during the summer and fall months. Largely assumed to be suited only for grazing land due to poor soil and persistent cloud coverage until the 90’s, Carneros (ram in Spanish) is the viticultural ideal for cooler climate varieties, pioneered by winemaker Andre Tchelistcheff. This vineyard was acquired and planted in 1993 to 410 acres of different clones of Pinot noir, Chardonnay and Merlot. The clonal selections are integral to producing a wine of depth, texture and character. Yields are limited, allowing for the vine to produce the truest expression of the fruit without compromise. Merlot from this vineyard is dark, inky and full of balance. Myriad Cellars is excited to add this wine to the portfolio in 2022.

Myriad Rarefied Air Beckstoffer Melrose Vineyard Proprietary White Wine
The Beckstoffer Melrose vineyard is located in the heart of Rutherford, surrounding Andy and Betty Beckstoffer's personal home. Light blonde and beautiful, this wine is citrus fruit-driven with lifted notes of lemon zest, clementine, crushed oyster shells and flinty starfruit. The natural chalky white Bordeaux like minerality 'coat your mouth’ texture in this wine is undeniable. Incredible mid-palate depth with a crystalline mouthfeel, slight match stick reduction and co-mingling the grape varieties, transcend into the sensory hallmarks of a white Bordeaux style. This is coupled with a richness of premium new French oak, layers and depth of flavor with an explosion of fresh fruit & minerals. BRILLIANT!

Myriad Cellars Vivio Vineyard Syrah
Vivio was one of the first of the “renaissance” vineyards to be planted in the Petaluma Gap, the wind-sheared channel between Bodega and San Pablo Bays – a source of bracingly structured, increasingly sought-after cool-climate wine. Typical of the Vivio approach to grape growing – there is no stone left unturned in trying to grow the best possible grapes in Petaluma Gap.. If it takes baby-doll sheep for mowing, or planting Alyssum under the vines, or netting the vines to stop bird damage, or organic farming practices, then these are all methods employed at Vivio Estate. This amazing vineyard site is gently sloping to the west in an area just north of San Pablo Bay where very cool breezes from the Petaluma Gap and lots of fog allow grapes to keep natural acidity and to develop flavors without getting too high in sugar. As well as being great people to work with, we have a great respect for their commitment to sustainable practices.
The vineyard grows both Syrah and Pinot noir and is planted with a number of highly regarded clones of both. In 2020 we were able to get tiny amounts of this highly sought after Syrah to add to our cool climate portfolio. It’s the cool climate Syrah that Mike has always wanted to make. , Elegant, delicate and expressive side of the grape this will produce a wine with intensity without being heavy and with naturally balanced acid, tannin and fruit. Our most Cab-Like Syrah we've produced. Amazing addition to the Myriad Syrah portfolio.
